The AG Lifter Orpheus Footer is designed to manage loud speaker resonance, without total mitigation of resonance.
Within the four piece design, a dual shore hardness nitrile layer is used to allow the speaker to develop audible tight, accurate music while still allowing the feel and energy in your listening room.

The answer is most times NO.
The design of the AG Lifter Orpheus Footer for Loudspeaker Spikes is an easy tilt and drop of the loudspeaker into the tapered hole in the top surface of the footer.
For replacement of an existing footer the AG Lifter Orpheus has the option of being ordered with a threaded hole for a selection of threaded inserts to suit all brands of Loudspeakers.
Flooring Friendly
The underside of the AG Lifter Orpheus design is flat and smooth, caring for delicate flooring surfaces.
Can I maintain the height of my Speaker in my listening position or room?
The AG Lifter Orpheus only raises the loudspeaker 16-18mm with the speaker spike inserted into the top. Height and rake adjustments are usually catered for within the speaker design to compensate for small margins if needed.
