introduction, the story and industry need:
The AG Lifter journey of designing and building advanced audio isolation products led us to experimenting with makes, models and brands of high-end audio equipment. AG Lifter achieved the best results by applying specific tuning according to the audio sources and component designs. The most sensitive source in our opinion is a turntable. For more information please read the white paper.
During our travels, my wife, Vanessa and I discovered Döhmann Audio turntables and became obsessed with the sound, soon we owned our first one.
Disclosure: AG Lifter are now New Zealand distributors for Döhmann Audio. An Australian, Melbourne based company designing and building turntables at the peak of current turntable technology. What contribution helped chief designer Mark Döhmann achieve this? Well, the foundation of the Döhmann turntable is a Minus K isolation system, a passive device born of the laboratory space to support electron microscopes.
Mark Döhmann, consulted Andre Gil from AG Lifter to consider building an AG Lifter module based on the AG Lifter Apollo XL model architecture, incorporating the Minus K technology. We thought this was a great idea and a design collaboration began. The combination of being music lovers, analogue enthusiast, and dedicated engineers created a super nova effect!
The very first AG Lifter Minus K module was built for a Melbourne based Turntable Specialist, Chris Camilleri. Chris has ownership of a Continuum Caliburn turntable, build number ’01’. Previously designed by Mark Döhmann. The Caliburn is recognised as the beginning of super turntables. Together we completed the design, build, R&D and final installation in Chris’s new listening room and the results where astounding!
Today, the legacy continues with the AG Lifter Apollo XL Minus K Module.

Why is it important to integrate an AG Lifter Apollo XL statement rack with Minus K technology?
The AG Lifter Solution:
The AG Lifter Apollo XL, Minus K module is built specifically for high performance Turntable playback.
AG Lifter Apollo XL, Minus K system and is fully compatible with all AG Lifter Apollo XL modular racks.
The AG Lifter Minus K system can be ordered as a standalone Turntable stand with the addition of Dulcet 20 footers under the base. This may reside on top of any chosen furniture etc.
An AG Lifter Apollo XL model rack incorporates resonance management well into the high frequencies (HZ). The Minus K assembly virtually eliminates resonance from very low in the frequency range (beginning at 0.5Hz and extending to 100 Hz). Together the combination exceeds any known standard rigid audio rack.
